Running Roots Event Policy

1. In order to secure registration for Running Roots events, participating teams must submit the registration form AND the payment in before the event’s registration deadline date. Submitting the registration form (where required) does not mean you have secured registration unless FULL payment and registration form has been received by Running Roots.

2. All payments must be submitted via mail and online. Payments made directly to RR staff will not be accepted. Payments must be mailed or paid online. Registration forms can be mailed or a scanned email copy with all signatures.

3. In the event that there are more willing teams/participants than available registration spots, we will return the original check received or refund the amount paid in full. However, if registration was completed online, we will refund the amount paid minus any online processing fee (i.e. if registration fee is $200.00 and online processing fee is $5.00, you will receive a refund of $195.00). If a fully registered team cancels and a spot opens up, we will accept registrations based on a “first come first served basis”. Registrations with the earliest postmarks/online registration date and that are paid in full will be given priority.

4. Completed registration forms must be submitted 2 weeks before the event date. Registration forms may be changed and team rosters may be modified up until your team’s first game on the event date.

5. All RR events specify male/female and church member/non member ratios that must be met, unless noted otherwise. A church member/attendee is defined as someone who have been attending church service for the past 2 months on a regular basis.

6. Teams can consist of people from other churches. 7. Prizes that consist of donation of funds must meet the below guidelines. Final distributions of funds are subject to RR staff approvals.
